Jodi, widely known by her producer name Jaxee, has a great love for music. She studied at COPA (Campus of Performing Arts), where she honed her skills in music composition, production, and performance. In 2012, she stepped into the industry as a Music Compiler at Heart FM, gaining hands-on experience in curating, music scheduling, play listing and understanding the pulse radio audiences.
Her passion for artist development grew more where she worked as a PR Scout for The Playground PR, working in a highly competitive global market. She also worked alongside Lea Heart with Raul Cardenas, from Miami. But Jaxee wasn’t just working behind the scenes, she was also creating. Over the years, she has produced successful radio tracks that have aired on major South African radio stations, solidifying her name as a powerhouse in the industry.
Jaxee composed for international and local record labels, creating tracks that resonate. Beyond music, she excels in sonic branding, crafting jingles and audio identities for top-tier brands.
Now open to TV scoring, label collaborations, and brand sound design, Jaxee blends innovation, emotion, and expertise to create sounds that leave a lasting impact. She continues to shape the industry with her artistry and innovation.
